This position works closely with internal departments, external vendors, and management to ensure product quality meets customer, regulatory, and internal requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Location:</strong>Prescott, Arizona</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform laboratory preparations and evaluations on product, including grinding, polishing, etching, and microstructure analysis using microscopes.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct metallurgical lab duties such as grain size evaluation, intergranular corrosion (IGC) testing, and other material analyses.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform receiving inspection functions across multiple product lines and materials.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support in-process and final inspection activities as required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with training and qualification of inspectors to ensure compliance with internal and customer standards.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare and support documentation for First Article Inspections (FAI), statistical data packages, FMEA, PPAP, and other customer-required quality documents.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review and approve certifications to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain accurate records and complete all required paperwork and electronic entries.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Update and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation in accordance with AS9100 and customer requirements.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate outside testing services including vendor communication, purchase order generation, and shipment/receipt of materials.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with external laboratories and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate completion of testing requirements.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform calibration of measuring gages and equipment and maintain calibration records.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure all equipment meets accuracy and traceability requirements (NIST, ISO/IEC 17025 where applicable).&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review shop floor orders for packaging requirements and coordinate appropriate packaging materials.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide support in gathering quality documentation for job setups.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Act as a Designated Quality Representative (DQR) when applicable.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company goals for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Meet corporate objectives related to safety performance, on-time delivery, and reduction of customer returns.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow all written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.&nbsp;</li><li <strong>OR</strong> high school diploma with relevant aerospace or manufacturing experience.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and SPC data.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gages.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Basic understanding of metallurgical processes and lab techniques preferred.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Effective communication skills with the ability to work across departments and with external vendors.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">ASQ certifications (e.g., CQI, CQT) preferred.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Aerospace manufacturing experience, particularly with turbine engine components.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience working within AS9100 and NADCAP
