    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Certified Athletic Trainer</strong></p>\n<p>Graceland University is seeking a full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer on the Lamoni, Iowa campus. &nbsp;Founded in 1895 and sponsored by Community of Christ, Graceland is a community of passionate, caring, and dedicated individuals who make up a worldwide community network that reaches far beyond its two campuses.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Lamoni is a city in Decatur County, Iowa. The population is about 2,052.&nbsp; Located an hour south of Des Moines; and about 2 hours north of Kansas City on I-35.</p>\n<p>This is an 11-month position reporting directly to the Director of Sports Medicine.&nbsp; Graceland University currently serves about 630 student-athletes across 23 varsity sports.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>providing athletic training services in the Athletics Department&nbsp;</li>\n <li>using the ATS software for injury tracking</li>\n <li>possible supervision of work study and Capstone internship students</li>\n <li>other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director, Director of SM, or Associate Head Athletic Trainer&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Qualifications include:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree (preferred) in related field&nbsp;</li>\n <li>NATABOC certified athletic trainer (ATC), in good standing&nbsp;</li>\n <li>minimum of one year experience</li>\n <li>Iowa Athletic Trainer’s license (or eligible) &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Additional Compensation includes:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>NATA dues</li>\n <li>State Licensure dues</li>\n <li>Athletic Training Personal Liability Fees</li>\n <li>Some additional funds for CEU’s</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Nights and weekends are required as well as some travel.</p>\n<p>Graceland University competes in the NAIA’s highly competitive Heart of America Athletic Conference in a wide variety of sports, so the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with athletes of all types.</p>\n<p>Application: Please submit your cover letter, resume, and list of at least three professional references by clicking Apply. &nbsp;Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until position is filled.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>",
