    "description": "<p>Job Summary: At the direction and control of the HIM Supervisor, the Technician will be responsible for Organize and manage patients&#39; health information data for inpatients, emergency room and/or outpatient records.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Principal Duties and Responsibilities</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Organize and manage patients&rsquo; health information data consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements.</li>\r\n\t<li>Utilizes electronic health record system for inquiry purposes</li>\r\n\t<li>Enters and sends data, and generates required reports</li>\r\n\t<li>Releases medical information, as appropriate.</li>\r\n\t<li>Collect, monitor, and process department related data and information</li>\r\n\t<li>Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses or to obtain additional information.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of transcribed documents to departments.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain electronic health records (EHR) databases.</li>\r\n\t<li>Verify accuracy and accessibility of files.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure all files are secure.</li>\r\n\t<li>Consequences of error in should be minimal</li>\r\n\t<li>May contact patient/customer in regard to patient records</li>\r\n\t<li>Actively participate in all special events</li>\r\n\t<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\r\n\t<li>May be required to work evenings, nights, and/or weekends on a regular or as needed basis.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n",
