    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>MaxLinear is seeking a Senior Principal IP Enablement Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on the following:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Drive IP strategy, design enablement, vendor engagement, and 3rd party IP sourcing for MaxLinear’s communications and datacenter products</li>\n <li>Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to define IP requirements, evaluate competitive solutions, and support SOW and licensing activities</li>\n <li>Evaluate and enable other IPs like foundation IPs, memory compilers and work directly with foundries and 3rd party IP vendors in the Maxlinear IP and tool eco system</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Industry experience in IP design, IP integration, and 3rd party IP procurement</li>\n <li>Background evaluating vendor IPs, including memory compilers and foundry provided IP</li>\n <li>Familiarity with IP qualification flows, benchmarking, and comparison analysis</li>\n <li>Understanding of PPA, timing corners, and impact of power management features like DVS/DVFS</li>\n <li>Ability to build strong cross-functional technical relationships and demonstrate strong vendor management skills</li>\n <li>Analog and digital IC design/analysis experience on SerDes and High-Speed Interface IPs</li>\n <li>Exposure to IP licensing or negotiation processes</li>\n <li>BS in Electrical Engineering or related + 11 years of experience, or MS + 9 years of experience, or Ph.D. + 6 years of experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p>MaxLinear has a Total Compensation philosophy which includes base salary and annual discretionary bonus eligibility and many positions also include stock-based compensation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>MaxLinear's good faith estimate starting base salary range is:  $183,000 to $225,000 Annually</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We offer competitive benefits designed to support employee health, welfare, and retirement and some highlights are:  health care benefits, 401k savings plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), and paid time off.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The actual starting base salary will be determined by the match to certain role-related criteria such as educational degree(s) or equivalent, relevant work experience, skillset needed for the role, and geographic location; this is not an all-inclusive list as some roles may require unique skills or experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to, and will not be discriminated against based on race, sex, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>MaxLinear is a global, NASDAQ-traded company (MXL) where the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well.
