This position serves as the mechanical engineering contributor to design concepts, prototype development, detailed design, product validation and support in launching products. We are a fast-paced organization and the ability to multitask within this environment successfully is important. The Mechanical Engineer will report directly to the Integration Engineering Manager and will work a hybrid schedule based out of Houston, TX.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></u></p><ul><li>Contribute to the mechanical engineering team, providing technical and design input, as well as engineering and product support.&nbsp;</li><li>Contribute to the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems and components.</li><li>Participate in the development of innovative system level concepts and designs that meet project and cost targets.&nbsp;</li><li>Interface with suppliers and prototype vendors to obtain quotes, make design changes and execute project initiatives, as necessary.</li><li>Create and modify detailed drawings, draft conceptual models from layouts, rough sketches, or discussions.&nbsp;</li><li>Be creative in taking an idea and studying the details before converting it into a design.</li><li>Contribute in the definition of the project scope and deliverables that align with the project goals and strategies across the organization.&nbsp;</li><li>Create, update, and maintain project documentation including 3D Model, 2D drawings, product specifications, and testing requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide engineering support to the production, quality, testing, documentation, and any other engineering rated task involving the production of ERock Products.</li><li>Additional responsibilities may be added at the direction of the Company’s management.</li></ul>",
