This role requires significant travel and can be based anywhere in the United States, as project work spans multiple regions and may require long term on site presence. The Superintendent provides on site leadership for fast track construction, driving safety, quality, schedule performance, and robust trade coordination on mission critical builds.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Field Leadership & Execution</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead daily field operations on mission‑critical data center projects valued between $25M and $100M.</li>\n <li>Supervise subcontractors, craft labor, and trade partners to ensure safe, high‑quality execution.</li>\n <li>Drive fast‑track project delivery while maintaining strict safety, quality, and schedule standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Technical & Operational Coordination</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Apply strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems within mission‑critical facilities.</li>\n <li>Coordinate daily work activities with master schedules, short‑interval look‑aheads, and logistics plans.</li>\n <li>Manage site logistics, including material deliveries and OFCI/CFCI vendor integration.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Planning, Documentation & Compliance</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain detailed field schedules to ensure proper sequencing of work.</li>\n <li>Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, codes, and contract requirements.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and quality records.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Team Leadership & Collaboration</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Mentor and manage Assistant Superintendents to support their development and performance.</li>\n <li>Collaborate effectively with Project Managers, design teams, inspectors, vendors, and field staff.</li>\n <li>Build strong relationships across diverse teams while reinforcing accountability and results.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>10+ years as a Superintendent in commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical construction.</li>\n <li>Minimum 5+ years leading hyperscale and/or colocation data center projects.</li>\n <li>Proven track record delivering complex projects between $25M and $100M.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Technical & Leadership Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in mission‑critical environments.</li>\n <li>Ability to lead and coordinate multiple trade partners effectively.</li>\n <li>Excellent planning, scheduling, communication, and team‑leadership skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Travel Requirement</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be willing and able to travel <strong>more than 50% of the time</strong>, including extended stays at project sites.</li>\n <li>Ability to relocate temporarily as needed based on project demands.</li>\n <li>Comfortable working in multiple regions across the United States.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>EEO Information</h2>\n<p>Eligible candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship or restriction, now and in the future. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Shawmut prohibits discrimination against any staff member or applicant on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, religion, national origin, marital status, veteran status, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, genetic information, disability, creed, citizenship status, or any other legally protected characteristic.</p>\n<h2>Salary Range Information</h2>\n<p><strong>U.S. Base Salary Range: $150K-$230K:  </strong>Placement within the listed range depends on many factors including, but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, project size capability (for Construction & Field roles) and internal company equity.</p>",
