This role manages material requirements, monitors supply flow, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to minimize shortages and excess while supporting on-time delivery performance.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Coordinate material requirements planning (MRP) to align with production schedules and customer demand.</p></li>\n <li><p>Monitor and manage material flow through the supply chain, ensuring timely availability for manufacturing operations.</p></li>\n <li><p>Collaborate with Program Managers, Operations, Purchasing, Quality, Receiving, and Stockroom to resolve material issues and support schedule attainment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Review bills of material (BOMs) for structure, accuracy, and planning parameters; recommend adjustments as needed.</p></li>\n <li><p>Track shortages and excess materials, partnering with Purchasing to expedite orders or mitigate risks.</p></li>\n <li><p>Monitor supplier delivery dates and work with the procurement team to resolve delays.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support new contracts and projects by managing material readiness and planning activities.</p></li>\n <li><p>Provide regular reporting on material status, shortages, and risks to internal stakeholders.</p></li>\n <li><p>Analyze demand and historical usage trends to improve forecasting accuracy and reduce shortages/excess.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure compliance with company procedures, program priorities, and quality requirements.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, materials, or production planning; or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.</p></li>\n <li><p>Prior experience in a <strong>manufacturing or production support environment</strong> is required.</p></li>\n <li><p>Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Infor LN, Oracle, or equivalent) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to analyze demand data, forecasts, and material reports to drive planning decisions.</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.</p></li>\n <li><p>Effective problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving material shortages.</p></li>\n <li><p>Knowledge of electronic components, high-reliability (hi-rel) parts, and associated supply chain processes preferred.</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and program stakeholders.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Stellant Systems is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
