          "text": "<p><strong>AECOM</strong> is seeking&#xa0;an&#xa0;<strong>Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)&#xa0;Engineer&#xa0;</strong>to be based in&#xa0;<strong>Minneapolis,&#xa0;Minnesota</strong>.&#xa0;This position offers opportunities to work on exciting, challenging, and high-profile ITS and emerging technology projects.&#xa0;</p><p>This position will assist with&#xa0;a wide range of ITS related projects, including research,&#xa0;planning, design, and deployment of ITS and&#xa0;emerging technologies, including connected and automated vehicle technologies.&#xa0;&#xa0;</p><p><u><strong>Job Responsibilities&#xa0;</strong></u></p><ul><li>Works as part of a team and works independently in evaluating and applying ITS principles, standards, and criteria.&#xa0;</li><li>Performs specific and&#xa0;limited&#xa0;portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.&#xa0;</li><li>Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.&#xa0;</li><li>Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tasks.&#xa0;</li><li>Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.&#xa0;</li><li>Identifies discrepancies in results.&#xa0;</li><li>Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with&#xa0;moderate&#xa0;supervision.&#xa0;</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><u><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree and&#xa0;2&#xa0;years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.&#xa0;</li><li>Professional Engineer (PE)&#xa0;license&#xa0;in the State of Minnesota or ability to obtain license within&#xa0;two years.&#xa0;</li></ul><p><u><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></u></p><ul><li>2+&#xa0;years of&#xa0;experience&#xa0;in ITS and technology applications in transportation.&#xa0;</li><li>Experience in ITS and TSMO planning, systems engineering&#xa0;analysis, connected and automated vehicle technology, and smart mobility solutions.&#xa0;</li><li>Experience with fiber and wireless network, CCTV, DMS, and traffic signal design.&#xa0;</li><li>Experience in&#xa0;traffic engineering, traffic signal operations, timing, and system performance.&#xa0;</li><li>Experience in developing plan sheets, specifications &amp; estimates, technical memoranda, reports, presentations and other project documentation.&#xa0;</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external clients.&#xa0;</li></ul>",
