Description

Network Engineer Location:   Doral, FL Required Clearance:   TS or Secret w/SSBI (Tier 5 Investigation) Certifications:   DoDM 8570 IAT Level II certification and CCNA Required Education:  Bachelor ’s in IT or a related technical discipline preferre d or commensurate level of experience based on position level Required Experience:  Minimum of two years of Network Engineering experience Position Description: Exeter Government Services is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work for SOUTCOM on a newly awarded 6.5 year contract supporting a Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) . Successful candidates will p rovide configuration management support in accordance with compliance and policies and procedures, using configuration management systems to record, track, monitor, and update component configurations and configuration items and changes and account for assets . Primary Responsibilities: Provide lifecycle network infrastructure support for the installation, tuning, testing, monitoring, upgrading, patching, break/fix, and management, maintenance, and administration of network infrastructure environment, supporting LAN, WAN, MAN, or CAN across the enterprise Support all transmission/transport mediums (VPNs, dedicated circuits, broadband, etc.) and works with public carriers and other circuit providers to deliver network services Follows designated standards and adheres to processes and polices Support the development of integration and user acceptance test plans; execute test conduct and develop/provide test reports Perform installation actions, inclusive of the implementation of all DoD published hardware and software security requirements, to move designed systems into production Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI required to start DoD 8570 IAT II (e.g., Security + CE) CCNA BA/BS degree in Information Technology or related field or commensurate level of experience based on position level Minimum two (2) y ears of Network Engineering experience Shift work may be required to support real-world or contingency operations Some travel may be required Desired Qualifications /Experience : CCNP CCNP Security VMWare Certified Professional – Network Virtualization (VCP-NV) CISCO Switches and Routers Base Firewalls Palo Alto CISCO SourceFire SolarWinds CISCO Prime CISCO ISE F5 BIG-IP (LTM and APM) Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status. #clearancejobs
