    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p></p>Join our team at The Lodge as an Expediter and play a key role in making sure each guest receives accurate, beautifully prepared dishes. The Expediter/Food Runner is responsible for working with the expo to assure prompt delivery of the food that is ready in the “hot” and “cold” windows in the kitchen. The Expediter/Food Runner is responsible for delivery to the tables in The Lodge Kitchen, The Living Room and The Owl’s Nest. The Expediter/Food Runner and expo work both together and independently to assure that every plate looks correct and to deliver hot/cold food in a timely manner to the guests in all outlets. The Expediter/Food Runner together with the service staff is responsible for bringing any additional items the guests need to complete their meal. The Expediter/Food Runner will assist to maintain the AAA Four Diamond Standards.\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>They will always conduct themselves in a manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: <em>Trust, Open & Honest Communication, and Commitment. </em>He/She/They shall strive to deliver exceptional service to all internal and external guests at all times. In this role, they are responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture and actively supporting our Vision and Mission to be the destination of choice for our guests, owners, and associates.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Checks each plate of food to be correct as ordered by the guest</li>\n <li>Makes sure all condiments are accompanying each order</li>\n <li>Assures that every item on the order is ready and on the tray together</li>\n <li>Works diligently to avoid breakage and loss </li>\n <li>Notifies server of guest needs </li>\n <li>Completes all opening, on-going and closing side work and manager on duty as signed off on work</li>\n <li>Stocks/restocks appropriate linens for service</li>\n <li>Stocks/restocks work stations with appropriate plates and saucers, etc</li>\n <li>Informs server of any potential guest issues</li>\n <li>Familiarizes him/herself with all menus</li>\n <li>Attends mandatory monthly department meetings and appropriate resort and division meetings</li>\n <li>Answers questions and/or makes recommendations on menu items</li>\n <li>Performs food preparation duties such as bread & butter set-ups, condiment preparation, and any other prep as needed </li>\n <li>Assures that the beverage Ice bins remain full for service staff</li>\n <li>Addresses any guest issue promptly and with concern</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school education required </li>\n <li>Prior food and beverage experience preferred</li>\n <li>At least six months customer service experience preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>JOB REQUIRMENTS:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be at least 16 years of age</li>\n <li>Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written</li>\n <li>Must have or be able to obtain prior to start date a valid Oregon Food Handler’s permit</li>\n <li>Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the guests and associates</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>WORKING CONDITIONS:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to stand and walk throughout the shift </li>\n <li>Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height; and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.</li>\n <li>Must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 75 lbs </li>\n</ul>\n<p> #SunriverResort</p>",
