This is a higher-level role in the manufacturing department that involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing processes, adhering to quality standards, and following safety protocols, regulations, and laws.<br><br><u><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></u>:<ul><li>Operate and monitor cannabis manufacturing equipment and processes, including Hydrocarbon Extraction, Ethanol Extraction, Distillation, and Centrifuges.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.</li><li>Prepare and dispose of Biomass and Biowaste in compliance with regulations and internal SOPs.</li><li>Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.</li><li>Record and maintain accurate production data and logs.</li><li>Assist in the implementation of process improvements.</li><li>Handle and store chemicals safely, following all regulatory requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and resolve issues.</li><li>Responsible for product processing and formulation, following standardized formulas.</li><li>Perform lab bench work and product filtrations.</li><li>Ensure a safe and quality working environment.</li><li>Train and qualify on the manufacturing processes of the area.</li><li>Start up and shut down processing equipment.</li><li>Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of equipment.</li><li>Properly record data per SOPs and cGMP guidelines.</li><li>Perform Batch Record calculations.</li><li>Work within the team environment and interact with other departments for operational success.</li><li>Accurately weigh, measure, count and label materials and products.</li><li>Use logical methods to solve problems with effective solutions and make quick quality decisions.</li><li>Assist and support in investigations and process improvements.</li><li>Prepare chemical solutions for processes, following standardized formulas.</li><li>Perform duties as assigned by leadership.</li><li>Be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the department and business.</li></ul><u><strong>Qualifications and Education</strong></u>:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in a mechanical or chemistry-related field preferred.</li><li>Previous experience in a cannabis or manufacturing environment is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of chemical processes and equipment operation.</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Awareness of FDA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements.</li><li>Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills.</li></ul><u><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></u><ul><li>Ability to perform repetitive task for long periods of time&#160;</li><li>Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work in various environmental conditions.</li><li>Must be willing to wear a variety of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.</li><li>Must possess good hand-eye coordination; close attention to detail is required.</li><li>Must be able to work indoors and outdoors with exposure to mechanical/moving parts, hazards including flammable liquids, gas, dust, dirt, pollen, odors, and irritants.</li><li>Must be able to work outside of regular work hours, including off shift, weekend, and holiday work as business needs require.</li></ul><u><strong>Compensation and Benefits</strong></u>:<ul><li>20.00+, commensurate with experience.</li><li>Health, Dental, Vision, Short-Term Disability, and Life Insurance, with individual employee premiums covered by the company at 100%.</li><li>401k with Matching.</li><li>12 days of paid time off.</li><li>9 Paid holidays, including 3 additional personal days.</li><li>Generous Employee discount.</li></ul><br><br><br>&#160;",
