Our Café <strong>Sandwich Maker</strong> preps and prepares a range of culinary delights from eclectic to classic that include vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and meat-loving options. These items are part of our sandwich and salad stations (signature options and made-to-order) as well as our “grab and go” case to provide delicious food for our guests to enjoy in our café or at home. &nbsp;The ideal candidate will:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Select each ingredient with care and assemble each sandwich and salad thoughtfully, neatly and swiftly</li><li>Go above and beyond to accommodate guest requests</li><li>Respect the guest’s need for speedy and accurate service</li><li>Take great pride in the salad bar and soup station, making sure they are abundant, spotless, labeled with correct signage and are full of only the freshest ingredients</li><li>Maintain prep lists, pars and ingredients for both the self serve salad bar and made to order sandwich station</li><li>Be a team player and always communicate their needs to the Chef, Managers, and Culinary Director</li><li>Bring a beaming and bright attitude to the kitchen on a daily basis and infuse that energy into the food and into the HL community</li></ul><p><strong>Hours: </strong>Part or Full Time, must have weekend availability</p><p><strong>Pay: </strong>Starts at $17.00 per hour <strong>plus tips</strong>; previous experience will be taken into consideration</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>222 Dorset Street, South Burlington, VT</p><p><br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Staff at Healthy Living enjoy:</strong></p><p>Generous store discount: 20% off center store items and cafe, 30% off wellness, 20% off wine, and 10% off beer</p><p>Full-time staff accrue 2 weeks PTO, 3 weeks after 1 year of service</p><p>Part-time staff accrue up to 40 hours of sick time a year</p><p>Health Insurance, for single health benefits employee pays 25%, company pays 75%. For employee plus one or family the split is 50/50</p><p>For full-time staff - 401(k): 100% vested from day one!
