Provides personal patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).</p>\n<p>Job Requirements:</p>\n<div>\n <p>Education and Work Experience:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred</li>\n  <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred</li>\n  <li>Medical secretary/receptionist experience: Preferred</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Licenses/Certifications:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association: Required</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Facility Specific License/Certifications:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Essential Functions:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Assists with patient care activities, as needed, under the guidance of the Charge Nurse or shift leader. Maintains work area(s) and equipment through cleaning, stocking and ordering of supplies.</li>\n  <li>Takes and records vital signs, including pain scale according to established policies and procedures.</li>\n  <li>Performs clerical duties, including chart management and maintaining unit supplies and forms.
