    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>To become the world’s greatest baker, we need the world’s greatest team members</strong><strong></strong></p>\n<p>Reporting to the Operations Shift Leader and Operations Leader, the Line Leader - Production will provide hands-on leadership on a production shift within the plant to ensure production schedules are met safely and on time all within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.</p>\n<p><strong><u>What FGF Offers:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>FGF believes in Home Grown Talent, accelerated career growth with leadership training, unleashing your potential </li>\n <li>Competitive Compensation, Health & Welfare Benefits including Vision & Dental and flexible options at competitive premiums </li>\n <li>401k matching program</li>\n <li>Discount program - Restaurants, gyms, shopping, etc.</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Leads by example and fosters an environment of mutual respect and teamwork among Team Members </li>\n <li>Conduct pre-shift huddles and provides feedback for Team Leaders </li>\n <li>Responsible for leading Team Leaders in addition to production crew on one or more production lines </li>\n <li>Leads, coaches, mentors and trains Leaders and Team Members </li>\n <li>Ensures production schedules are met and deals with problems that may occur </li>\n <li>Co-ordinates the various department schedules, products and manpower to ensure that the production in the plant runs smoothly </li>\n <li>Checks throughout shift to ensure that proper methods and procedures are being used and that quality, safety, environment standards are being met </li>\n <li>Leads, coaches, mentors and trains Team Leaders, and other Team Members as needed </li>\n <li>Ensures that a safe working environment is maintained at all times by enforcing Company standards and following up on regular inspections </li>\n <li>Assists in all testing of new equipment, methods and or products, as well as trouble shoot processes and equipment </li>\n <li>Utilizes the OMS system to help achieve production targets </li>\n <li>Follows and enforce all GMP’s and Safety Procedures as outlined by FGF </li>\n <li>Trains and develops Team Members to ensure they can coordinate the line/area. </li>\n <li>Provides input on staffing levels and participates in sourcing and interviewing candidates. </li>\n <li>Ensures Cerebro (OEE Tracking Tool) is accurately working. </li>\n <li>Provides a fostering team environment by clearly defining and communicating to production Team Members their impact on individual and team performance. </li>\n <li>Hires, trains, develops and evaluates staff timely and effectively. Prepares thorough an objective Team Member Performance Review. Provides informal feedback on a regular basis. </li>\n <li>Demonstrate Leadership that promotes Team Member Engagement through enhanced communication and trust between team member and leader </li>\n <li>Acts as a backup to Shift Leader when necessary </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment (food/bakery experience is desirable) </li>\n <li>Must be a demonstrated leader who easily interacts with others and is adept at leading and motivating a team to meet demands established by the schedule </li>\n <li>Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication skills, along with simple mathematical abilities </li>\n <li>Ability to manage difficult people </li>\n <li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision </li>\n <li>Flexible to work days, afternoons, nights & weekends if needed </li>\n <li>Working knowledge of GMP's, HACCP & O.S.H.A is required </li>\n <li>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) </li>\n <li>Post-secondary education is an asset </li>\n <li>Ability to identify and suggest new opportunities (think outside the box). </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment!
