    "requisitionDescription": "<p>Geodesicx, Inc. is looking for a Cable Fabrication Technician to join our team in the Charleston, SC area.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><u>Required Skills:</u></span></strong></p><ul><li style=\" font-weight: bold;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Proficient with MIL-STD cable fabrication with the capability to assemble/solder communications cabling, RF cabling, power, networking, and other multi conductor cabling</li><li>Capability to read and understand technical documentation, cable assembly drawings and schematics for complex or multi-system architecture.</li><li>Experience configuring, operating, and troubleshooting a variety of current fielded USMC communications systems.</li><li>A solid understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and related codes</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential for diagnosing and fixing electrical issues.</li><li style=\" font-weight: bold;\">Working knowledge of tactical communications best practices for vehicle integration:<ul><li style=\" font-weight: bold;\">Grounding/Bonding</li><li style=\" font-weight: bold;\">Cable management</li><li style=\" font-weight: bold;\">Component installation/removal</li><li style=\" font-weight: bold;\">Electrical safety</li><li style=\" font-weight: bold;\">System Troubleshooting</li></ul></li><li>Familiarity with technical content required to produce the following technical documents and/or USMC publications:<ul><li>Modification Instructions (MIs)</li><li>Technical Instructions (TIs)</li><li>Technical Manuals (TMs)</li><li>Component Parts List / SL-3</li><li>Bill of Materials (BOM)</li><li>Interface Control Document (ICD)</li></ul></li><li>Proficiency with hand tools and familiarity with electrical equipment and testing instruments are necessary</li><li>Understanding of safe operation of shop hand tools and power tools.</li><li>A strong understanding of electrical safety practices and regulations is paramount.</li><li>Experience with operation of RF test equipment for maintenance and troubleshooting<ul><li>Insulation tester resistance meter (Megger)</li><li>multi-meter</li></ul></li><li>Effective communication with clients, supervisors, and other team members is vital.</li><li>Ability to lift, climb, and work in confined spaces, so physical fitness and dexterity are important.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong><u>Desired Skills/Experience:</u></strong></span>&nbsp;</p><ul><li data-pasted=\"true\">Operational knowledge of USMC voice and data modes of communication to include UHF, VHF, HF, SATCOM, SINCGARS, ANW2</li><li>Operational knowledge of the USMC Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV)</li><li>Experience with configuring, operating, and troubleshooting USMC voice and data radios and vehicular radio configurations, specifically:<ul><li>RT-2034C, AN/VRC-138</li><li>RT-2060</li></ul></li><li>Experience with configuring, operating, and troubleshooting Harris RF-7800i Inter Communications Set (ICS).</li><li>Experience with configuration, operating, and troubleshooting the Joint Battle Command - Platform (JBC-P) / Mounted Family of Computer Systems (MFoCS)</li><li>Attended MIL-STD-2003 training and IPC 620 Certified</li></ul><p><strong>*U.S. DoD security clearance at a level of SECRET is required</strong></p>\n",
