    "description": "<h2>Role Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Sodexo Energy and Resource</strong> is seeking an experienced <strong>Project Manager 2 - Construction </strong>to work with one of our construction management teams at one of our largest energy accounts in<strong> </strong><strong>Houston, TX. </strong>This position functions as<strong> </strong>a key member of the Design and Construction management team. This <strong>Project Manager 2 - Construction </strong>will collaborate with a team of project managers who will oversee capital project teams and stakeholders, ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled throughout the design, construction, and implementation phases. </p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop project schedules and execute according to plan for assigned projects. </li>\n <li>Evaluate the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins, field directives and/or scheduling changes. </li>\n <li>Actively pursue additional work through change orders. </li>\n <li>Perform associated cost estimates, prepare proposals, and negotiate final settlement price and customer acceptance. </li>\n <li>Effectively communicate project progress, issues, and financial status to management as required. </li>\n <li>Develop and maintain viable long-term relationships with consultants, prime contractors, and subcontractors.  </li>\n <li>Attend and lead job progress meetings as required. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p>Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. A Master's degree is highly desirable</li>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years of Construction/Project Management experience within new construction, renovations, MEP infrastructure, and working in critical environments preferred</li>\n <li>Strong Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Writer, Visio, and basic Windows environment) as well as MS project, Procore and Bluebeam preferred</li>\n <li>OSHA 30 (or the ability to gain certification within 120 days of hire)</li>\n <li>Ability to embrace ambiguity and work effectively in environments with undefined processes</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Who We Are</h2>\n<p>At Sodexo, our purpose is to create a better everyday for everyone and build a better life for all.
