Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field preferred.</li><li>Licensure:     Valid Ohio LSW or LPC, LISW or PCC preferred.</li><li>Skills:             Strong clinical skills including expertise in systemic family therapy, crisis intervention, family education, behavioral interventions, and substance abuse therapy.<br>Sensitivity in relating to persons of varying backgrounds and demonstrate ability to work with diverse groups of people possessing various strengths, aptitudes and abilities.<br>Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.<br>Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.<br>Proficiency in using Agency computer systems and software as required to perform essential job functions.<br>Practical and creative problem solving skills.</li><li> Experience:          Experience in clinical diagnosis and assessment.</li><li>3-5 years experience in mental health field.</li><li>Experience working with children, adolescents and their families</li></ol><p style=\"margin-bottom:13px;\"><br><br><strong>SUMMARY:</strong><br><br>The Intake Specialist engages members and/ or member families to offer care coordination services through OhioRISE and initiates the completion of the (Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths) CANS assessment and intake paperwork.  The Intake Specialist is a key member of the Care Management Entity (CME) to help members get connected to OhioRISE services and improve the lives of families and members served.<br><br><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</strong></p><ol><li>Initiate clinical assessment (CANS) based on verbal, written, and/or face-to-face interviews to determine appropriate level of treatment for client.   </li><li>Manage a diverse caseload of all types of referrals, representing the Agency’s service array.</li><li>Provide face-to-face admission with clients and guardian.  Entails completing all required clinical and administrative paperwork.</li><li>Assist in maintaining full census in CME.</li><li>Make recommendations of agencies in the community or across the country should the need arise if Bellefaire JCB is unable to cover the needed service.</li><li>Assist in departmental coverage of the incoming referrals, outreach and CANS assessments.</li></ol><br><strong>OTHER DUTIES:</strong><ol start=\"7\"><li>Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going trainings.  Intake staff often assesses clients in schools, homes and other programs.</li><li>Maintain all required trainings, certifications and licensure.
