    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>POSITION SUMMARY</p>\n<p>We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling and welding parts and/or frames to print specifications while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, productivity, and craftsmanship. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, accountability, and a commitment to Vertiv’s values, behaviors, and operational excellence.</p>\n<p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p>\n<p>Assemble and weld parts and/or frames according to engineering drawings and print specifications.</p>\n<p>Align, fit, and clamp workpieces using measuring tools, hand tools, fixtures, jigs, or vises to ensure proper positioning prior to welding.</p>\n<p>Clean workpieces to remove dirt, oil, rust, or excess material using chemical solutions, files, wire brushes, grinders, or other appropriate tools.</p>\n<p>Perform TIG welding along adjoining edges of workpieces using appropriate welding equipment and techniques.</p>\n<p>Grind, cut, buff, bend, or otherwise prepare edges of workpieces to ensure proper fit and weld integrity using power and hand tools.</p>\n<p>Inspect completed welds and assemblies for defects, accuracy, and conformance to specifications.</p>\n<p>Rework defective welds, seams, or broken parts as required to meet quality standards.</p>\n<p>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while following all safety policies and procedures.</p>\n<p>Maintain a positive, progressive, and productive attitude toward plant goals related to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.</p>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS</p>\n<p>High school diploma or GED required.</p>\n<p>Previous welding or fabrication experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.</p>\n<p>Proficiency with TIG welding processes.</p>\n<p>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.</p>\n<p>Experience using measuring devices such as tape measures, squares, and gauges.</p>\n<p>Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.</p>\n<p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</p>\n<p>Willingness to learn new processes and continuously improve skills.</p>\n<p>PHYSICAL &amp; ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS</p>\n<p>Due to the nature of our work, Team Members may be required to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, carry objects over distance, bend, twist, squat, kneel, climb ladders, stand or sit for extended periods of time, and use tools requiring manual dexterity.
