    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Paint &amp; Stain Finisher</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Premier Mantels @ Renovation Brands</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About This Position:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We are seeking an experienced Paint &amp; Stain Finisher to join our custom mantel shop. &nbsp;This role is responsible for producing high-quality painted and stained finishes on mantels, mantel shelves and related millwork. &nbsp;The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, understands wood behavior, and takes pride in consistent, professional finishes.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li><strong>Location:</strong>&nbsp; Florence, AL. &nbsp;On-site.</li><li><strong>Reports to:</strong>&nbsp; Plant Manager.</li><li><strong>Hourly Rate:</strong>&nbsp; $17.50 - $19.00 (experience &amp; interview performance will determine actual number within the range).</li><li><strong>Shift:</strong>&nbsp; 1<sup>st</sup> shift, Monday &ndash; Thursday, 10 hours daily, Full-time. (occasional Fridays with overtime pay)</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Prepare mantel parts and assemblies for finishing (sanding, filling, sealing).</li><li>Apply paint, stain, dye, glaze, and clear coats using spray equipment.</li><li>Match colors and finishes to samples and client specifications.</li><li>Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and defects.</li><li>Perform light touch-ups and repairs as needed.</li><li>Maintain clean, organized spray booth and finishing area.</li><li>Mix finishes and maintain accurate formulas and records.</li><li>Follow shop safety procedures and proper handling of materials.</li><li>Work collaboratively with cabinet makers, supervisors, and production staff.</li><li>Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Scope of Work:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><em>Surface Preparation</em></p><ul><li>Sand raw wood and MDF components to required grit levels.</li><li>Fill nail holes, seams, and imperfections.</li><li>Apply sealers, primers, and pre-stain conditioners as required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><em>Finishing Application</em></p><ul><li>Apply stains, paints, glazes, and topcoats per shop standards.</li><li>Achieve consistent color, sheen, and texture.</li><li>Perform multi-step or specialty finishes when required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><em>Quality Control</em></p><ul><li>Inspect finished components for defects and consistency.</li><li>Sand between coats as required.</li><li>Complete final touch-ups prior to assembly or shipping.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><em>Equipment &amp; Safety</em></p><ul><li>Set up, operate, and clean spray equipment.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized finishing area.</li><li>Follow safety procedures and use required PPE.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What We&rsquo;re Looking For:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>2+ years of experience in wood finishing and/or auto body.</li><li>Strong understanding of paint and stain systems.</li><li>Experience with spray equipment (HVLP or similar).</li><li>Ability to color-match and interpret finish samples.</li><li>Knowledge of wood species and finishing techniques.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and quality control.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Candidate Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensuring a smooth and enjoyable candidate experience is very important to us at Renovation Brands.
