The Automotive Technician performs vehicle repair, manufacture recall and warranty service, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting and vehicle certification and reconditioning services according to company policy and procedures. This position requires the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative.  Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>We are currently looking for technicians that can work one of the following schedules:</strong></p>\n<p>Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 4pm</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is located at the <strong>Roanoke Service Center, 5550 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, VA 24012</strong>.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>$29 - 32 / hour starting pay with overtime availability dependent on ASE's/Factory Certifications – No more Flat Rate</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>$2.00 / hour pay differential for weekday shift (after 11:00 am)</strong></li>\n   <li><strong>$6.00 / hour pay differential for weekend shift</strong></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Technician Tool Allowance</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Full-Time Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with employer match, profit sharing, paid time off - along with Employee/Family Rental Car Discounts, Employee Referral Bonuses and Auto Purchasing Discounts</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Work on new vehicles across all manufacture lines</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Pursue Professional Development – work and train with our team of highly qualified and experienced Master Technicians</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Paid manufacture training and promotional opportunities</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Use of the latest diagnostic software and manufacture scan tooling</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines.</li>\n <li>Complete required manufacturer's training and perform warranty and recall repairs.</li>\n <li>Complete ADA installs as required upon completion of training.</li>\n <li>Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.</li>\n <li>Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.</li>\n <li>Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.</li>\n <li>Utilize multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic tools.</li>\n <li>May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs. </li>\n <li>Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.</li>\n <li>Requires ability to perform manual labor, such as, bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.</li>\n <li>Moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds with long periods of standing and walking.</li>\n <li>Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans</em></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles required.</li>\n <li>OEM Level III Certification OR 4 current ASE certifications required.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 convicted moving violations and/or at-fault accidents. No drug or alcohol related incidents with the past 3 years (Total points on driving record cannot exceed 8 points).</li>\n <li>Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.</li>\n <li>VA State Inspection Certification Preferred</li>\n <li>Requires ownership of standard hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance on current vehicles (produced in the last 3 years)</li>\n <li>Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.</li>\n <li>Apart from religious observation, must be able to work a full-time shift for the one of the following schedules:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 4pm</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>",
