The successful candidate will provide and coordinate care for patients on the floor and ICU for night and weekend coverage.</p>\n<p>Our ideal candidate will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work rotating night shifts in the ICU/Floor covering the cardiac surgery inpatient service, fielding patient phone calls, and evaluating new consults</li>\n <li>Cover 1-2 weekends per month as part of regular hours</li>\n <li>Work independently and have strong communication skills to address issues with the intensivist or surgeon when issues arise</li>\n <li>Be comfortable managing all aspects of cardiac surgery patient care including but not limited to ventilator management, vasoactive drips, chest tubes placement and removal, pacing wire removal, intra-aortic balloon pump removal, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>We offer:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Onboarding program and mentorship</li>\n <li>Competitive salary</li>\n <li>Excellent work-life balance</li>\n <li>Cohesive and collegial team with most of the APPs on staff 10 years and up</li>\n <li>Comprehensive benefits package to include health, dental, vision, and malpractice insurance, up to 6% employer retirement match, CME allowance, student loan repayment, and relocation bonus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BLS certification</li>\n <li>Current (or eligible) certification to practice as a PA or APRN in NH</li>\n <li>Successful completion of an approved PA/APRN program. </li>\n <li>For candidates seeking to work in the OR: National specialty certification as RNFA or certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)</li>\n <li>Minimum of two years’ Cardiac Surgery experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The Dartmouth Health system stretches over New Hampshire and Vermont and offers the quintessential New England experience.
