    "requisitionDescription": "<p id=\"isPasted\">The Graduate Nursing Department at Misericordia University<strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong>seeks adjunct faculty members to teach in the MSN and DNP programs. &nbsp;Graduate programs include preparation for Family Individual Across the LifeSpan Nurse Practitioners and Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioners via the MSN, BSN-DNP or Post-Masters Certificate. &nbsp;There is also an MSN to DNP program for practicing APRN&rsquo;s. &nbsp;</p><p>Adjunct faculty members are needed for a variety of courses within the graduate program, starting Summer 2025 and into the 2025 &ndash; 2026 academic year. &nbsp;Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until all the department needs are met.&nbsp;</p><p>The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Earned doctorate (DNP or PhD) in nursing from an accredited institution&nbsp;</li><li>MSN or post-master&#39;s certificate as a family or adult-gerontology nurse practitioner&nbsp;</li><li>Current unencumbered Pennsylvania Registered Nurse and CRNP licenses with current national board certification in area of practice&nbsp;</li><li>Teaching experience at the graduate level, preferably in the online format&nbsp;</li><li>Experience overseeing graduate students in clinical practice settings &nbsp;</li></ul><p>Misericordia University was founded in 1924 by the Sisters of Mercy and has a long history of providing the community with health care practitioners who are compassionate, well educated, and able to deal with the challenging demands of health care in today&rsquo;s society. &nbsp;The Nursing program supports the mission of Misericordia University and its core values of mercy, service, justice, and hospitality. &nbsp;Successful candidates will join an experienced faculty with diverse clinical and educational backgrounds.&nbsp;</p><p>The Misericordia University Nursing Departments are fully accredited by CCNE. &nbsp;</p><p>Misericordia University is committed to student, faculty and staff diversity and values the educational benefit this brings to campus. &nbsp;Candidates should indicate any experience and/or leadership that contribute to this goal.</p><p>For any questions regarding the application process, please contact Leane Pace at <a href=\"mailto:[email protected]\" title=\"mailto:[email protected]\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>[email protected]</strong></a>.&nbsp;</p>\n",
