    "description": "<p>Are you a professional, experienced construction Project Manager who knows just about everything that has to do with high-end Remodel Carpentry?  Do you want to work for a well-established, family-owned company (47 years and counting!) that cares about quality AND their employees…a company that lives by the Golden Rule?  A leader in this field is looking for a talented and highly-knowledgeable Project Manager for this Full Time position – someone who also enjoys being a wise resource for others is key!  If this sounds like the career path you’ve been on or would like to be a part of now, we want to talk to you!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Please Reference <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JBCSRBCPM06</span> when applying with your resume and pay expectations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Management and Scheduling:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluating existing plans, contract estimates, budgets, allowances, and permit requirements with Pre-production Department.</li>\n<li>Subcontract with required trades.</li>\n<li>Develop master calendar, coordinate schedules two weeks prior, and update as needed.</li>\n<li>Provide daily written report with photos through BuilderTrend software.</li>\n<li>Monitor budget and profitability of job.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with other project managers to support the Production Department.</li>\n<li>Solve problems and/or conflicts that arise with thoughtfulness and tact.</li>\n<li>Attend weekly production meeting, quarterly goal sessions, and trainings as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Subcontracting and Oversite:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bid, evaluate, negotiate, and contract with subcontractors to perform required work.</li>\n<li>Schedule subcontractors and delivery dates for materials.</li>\n<li>Ensure work and quality is consistent with the plans, specifications, and local codes.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate and enforce safety regulations on jobsite.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Production:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Procurement of required materials not covered by subcontractor agreements.</li>\n<li>Address existing conditions, and requests for changes in an efficient manner.</li>\n<li>Review milestone checklists for the project.</li>\n<li>Conduct onsite client/consultant meetings at regularly scheduled intervals.</li>\n<li>Schedule inspections with local jurisdictions.</li>\n<li>Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School diploma or GED required.</li>\n<li>Bachelor’s Degree Preferred and may include Architecture, Building Sciences, Engineering and/or Construction Management.</li>\n<li>Certificate programs in general construction, project management and/or extensive residential remodeling and custom home building can be substituted for a degree.</li>\n<li>NARI Certified is a plus but not required.</li>\n<li>A minimum of three (3) years prior experience in Residential Remodeling is a MUST.</li>\n<li>Fundamental knowledge of construction means and methods, local building codes and safety regulations.</li>\n<li>Experience managing trades, subcontractors, and/or crews.</li>\n<li>Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, reports, correspondence, blueprints, construction plans, plats, and development plans.</li>\n<li>Understanding the estimating, budgeting, procurement, and subcontracting process.</li>\n<li>Excellent customer service skills required.</li>\n<li>Communicate and negotiate effectively and professionally with independent contractors, homeowners, architects, and consultants both verbally and in writing.</li>\n<li>Current, valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.</li>\n<li>Must be able to successfully complete a general background check.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Company offers a competitive compensation package including:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent environment</li>\n<li>Paid Time Off</li>\n<li>Holiday Pay</li>\n<li>401K</li>\n<li>Access to health insurance (paid by employee)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Principals only.
