We offer challenging and rewarding career opportunities, with room to grow, learn and excel.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary:</span></p>\n<p>Reporting to the Fleet and Logistics Superintendent, the Dump Truck / Tag-Along Driver is responsible for safely operating dump trucks and transporting heavy equipment using tag-along trailers to and from job sites across the Greater Toronto Area. This role plays a key part in supporting heavy civil construction operations by ensuring timely and safe delivery of materials and equipment while complying with all regulatory and safety requirements.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> Fresh way Drive, Concord. This role will require regular visits to Job Sites located across the Greater Toronto Area.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours of Operations:</span> 5:00 am to 5:00 pm (EST)</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hourly wage rate:</span> $34/hour</p>\n<p>This position will transition to a unionized role, LOCAL 230 after 3 months of employment</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate dump trucks to transport aggregates, soil, asphalt, and other construction materials to various job sites across the GTA</li>\n<li>Safely load, secure, transport, and unload construction equipment using tag-along trailers</li>\n<li>Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers</li>\n<li>Ensure proper load securement in accordance with MTO and safety regulations</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation</li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and site personnel</li>\n<li>Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and Ontario traffic laws</li>\n<li>Assist with general labour duties on-site as required</li>\n<li>Report mechanical issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly</li>\n<li>Maintain cleanliness and perform basic upkeep of assigned equipment</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Our ideal candidate:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid Class AZ driver’s license</li>\n<li>Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR record</li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of experience operating dump trucks and hauling equipment</li>\n<li>Proven experience with tag-along trailers and load securement</li>\n<li>Familiarity with GTA routes, construction sites, and traffic conditions</li>\n<li>Knowledge of Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations</li>\n<li>Ability to operate heavy equipment (e.g., skid steer, mini excavator) is an asset</li>\n<li>Flexibility to work early mornings, extended hours, and weekends as required</li>\n<li>Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>",
