Description
We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Lines Claims Adjuster to join our team in St. John's, Newfoundland. This role offers a hybrid work setup. The successful candidate will evaluate claims through loss investigation and negotiates settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements, while maintaining adequate production levels and customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Investigate multi-line claims and adjust losses Reviews and analyzes experts’ reports Selects and directs independent experts Maintains accurate expense accounts Work with manager to maintain client relations Ability to liaise and work with all facets of the insurance community including brokers, risk managers, legal counsel and regulators
Qualifications
2-5 years functional and technical experience in an insurance environment Independent adjusting license or working towards CIP designation Experience handling property and/or bodily injury is preferred, but open to all claims experience Post Secondary education in an insurance related field considered an asset Working knowledge of Xactimate and Xactanalysis an asset Computer and reporting skills including Office 365 and Windows 10 Ability to manage multiple priorities Must be a team player with outstanding customer service skills #LI-JD2
