The Equipment Operator Site Attendant will work primarily at the Richmond location but may need to transfer to the Abbotsford location to assist when needed. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a <strong>Heavy </strong><strong>Equipment Operator</strong>, you will primarily be responsible for operating loader, excavator, rock truck, and screener heavy equipment to fabricate, load, and apply soil.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate heavy equipment (loader, excavator, processing equipment, etc.) to mix biosolids, wood fibre and sand  </li>\n <li>Assist with road prep, sanding and watering to ensure the facility is accessible and maintained all year round </li>\n <li>Communicate with drivers regarding unloading locations predetermined by supervisor/manager </li>\n <li>Support inventory control (inbound/outbound/on ground) and accurately document load slips </li>\n <li>Comply with all rules and regulations, protocols and established metrics </li>\n <li>Follow all workplace safety policies, compliance regulations, and participate in identifying hazards </li>\n <li>Perform daily routine maintenance on equipment </li>\n <li>Provide internal and external customer service excellence </li>\n <li>May be asked to travel to other facilities if necessary </li>\n <li>Ability cross training on other functions at facility </li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>You Possess</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A minimum of 1 year of equipment operating experience (Excavator, Loader, Processing Equipment)</li>\n <li>Minimum 2,000 hours of excavator experience</li>\n <li>Mechanically inclined with experience with routine maintenance operations</li>\n <li>Exceptionally high level of hand-eye coordination</li>\n <li>Experience working with computers is an asset</li>\n <li>Valid drivers license and reliable transportation</li>\n <li>Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment as a member of a team</li>\n <li>Ability to work outside in all weather conditions</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule</li>\n <li>Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment</li>\n <li>Demonstrates strong communication</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic and positive team attitude</li>\n <li>Quality oriented and strong attention to detail </li>\n <li>Needs to be responsible, accountable and dependable</li>\n <li>Good physical condition and able to carry at least 50 lbs  </li>\n <li><strong>Embodies Arrow’s Values: Safety, Quality, Responsibility, Teamwork, Integrity and Fun!</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#IND</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2></h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Arrow has been recognized as a Top Fleet Employer of Distinction, a SmartWay Transport Partner, a BCTA Clean Carrier, a BC Hydro Clean Energy Champion and as a Carrier of Excellence in Women's Leadership.</p>",
