Other benefits include employer pension matching, shift differential, incentive/premium pay, free annual biometric screening and paid volunteer time off.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>RiverView is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Status:</strong> Non-Exempt – (PRN); subject to over-time</p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> Crookston Hospital</p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, primarily day shift. No regularly scheduled weekends or holidays; however, flexibility to cover these shifts on an as-needed basis is required.</p>\n<p><strong>Pay Range:</strong> $17.65 - $24.71 /per hour (DOE - based on experience) – non-benefitted</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong> The Supply Chain PRN / Coverage Specialist is a critical support role responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of medical supplies and materials within the organization. This position provides essential coverage for both \"Pick for Par\" and \"Courier\" functions, ensuring continuity of service during staff absences, increased workload, or special projects. The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and possess excellent customer service skills.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities - Pick for Par Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Inventory Management:</strong> Accurately pick, stage, and deliver medical supplies to various departments based on established par levels and requisitions.</li>\n <li><strong>Stock Rotation:</strong> Ensure proper rotation of stock (FIFO - First In, First Out) to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.</li>\n <li><strong>Replenishment:</strong> Monitor and replenish supply carts and storage areas, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained at all times.</li>\n <li><strong>Expiration Date Monitoring:</strong> Regularly check expiration dates on all products and remove/quarantine expired items according to established procedures.</li>\n <li><strong>Documentation:</strong> Maintain accurate records of supplies distributed, discrepancies, and returns.</li>\n <li><strong>Organization:</strong> Keep supply rooms and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.</li>\n <li><strong>Problem Solving:</strong> Identify and report any discrepancies, shortages, or issues with supply levels or product quality to the appropriate supervisor.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities - Courier Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Timely Delivery:</strong> Safely and efficiently transport medical supplies, equipment, mail, lab specimens, and other items between various departments, off-site locations, and external partners (e.g., clinics, physician offices).</li>\n <li><strong>Route Optimization:</strong> Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to ensure timely and effective service.</li>\n <li><strong>Vehicle Operation:</strong> Operate company vehicles (if applicable) in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Maintain cleanliness and perform routine checks of the vehicle.</li>\n <li><strong>Documentation:</strong> Accurately log all pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring proper chain of custody for sensitive items (e.g., specimens).</li>\n <li><strong>Customer Service:</strong> Interact professionally and courteously with all staff, patients, and external contacts.</li>\n <li><strong>Safety & Security:</strong> Adhere to all safety protocols, including the handling of hazardous materials and universal precautions.
