    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Title:</strong> Buyer (Contract role for 18-months)</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Reports to:</strong> Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager/ Director</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Based at:</strong> Mucci International Marketing Inc., Kingsville, Ontario</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Revision Date:</strong> May 2026.<br><br><strong>Type of Employment:</strong> Full time, 18-month contract, 5-6 days a week which includes, extended hours depending on workload and priorities, which will include some half day Saturdays.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities Include:&nbsp;</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Manage Direct and or Indirect procurement, spend and purchasing, which will include MRO, Corrugate, Resin, CAPEX, and Labels&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors</li><li>Accurately track and monitor all open purchase orders, ensuring pricing, quantity and ship dates are held</li><li>Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory flow, reduce waste and develop appropriate safety stock levels</li><li>Ensures inventory control measures are performed in an efficient and timely manner</li><li>Provide regular updates on inbound shipments</li><li>Work with cross functional teams and assist the Inventory Control team with maintaining proper inventory levels</li><li>Monthly Inventory counting</li><li>Monthly reporting on cost save measures</li><li>Holding suppliers accountable to KPI&rsquo;s</li><li>Maybe asked to complete other tasks based on skills and qualifications&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Completion of Post-Secondary education in business or related field is required</li><li>At least 1 year of experience in Purchasing/Buyer role&nbsp;</li><li>Previous experience in a CPG, Food packaging, or related industry is strongly preferred</li><li>Previous experience negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers is required</li><li>Previous experience with full-cycle RFQ process is required</li><li>Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook is required</li><li>Working knowledge of Famous software would be an asset</li><li>Able to perform daily, weekly and monthly reporting and balancing of pallets and crates to suppliers</li><li>Reporting of inventory and costing at the end of each month using Microsoft Excel</li><li>Proven ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with all levels of the organization</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Abilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time</li><li>Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs</li><li>Must be able to lift material regularly up to 14 kg / 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 23 kg / 50lbs</li><li>Must be able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time</li><li>Must be able to work in a temperature-controlled environment of approximately 13 ˚C / 55 ˚F</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Compensation:&nbsp;</strong>50-58K, on-site parking, other company perks.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>AI Disclosure:&nbsp;</strong>Mucci Farms is committed to transparency in our hiring practices.
