Candidates must be comfortable working near water and around moving equipment. The role supports barge unloading/loading and material‑handling operations during night‑shift hours.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Perform safety and operational inspections on mobile equipment, cleaning systems, material‑handling equipment, emissions controls, and the work environment</li><li>Operate, monitor, and adjust equipment using alarms, sensors, and manual controls</li><li>Follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision</li><li>Provide suggestions for improvements and problem‑solving</li><li>Perform adjustments and preventive maintenance on mobile and material‑handling equipment</li><li>Maintain and grade roads, ramps, berms, and stockpiles</li><li>Keep dock hoppers, aprons, loading areas, driveways, and material‑handling equipment clean and free of buildup</li><li>Maintain cleanliness inside the dock building</li><li>Complete a full walk‑through of the dock area each shift to identify hazards or potential issues</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Frequent reaching, grasping, turning, pinching, and handling objects</li><li>Ability to perceive size, shape, temperature, and texture through touch</li><li>Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing ladders/stairs, and bending</li><li>Requires motor coordination, finger dexterity, eye‑hand‑foot coordination, and color recognition</li><li>Lift, carry, push, pull, and move up to <strong>50 lbs</strong>, with frequent lifting of up to <strong>25 lbs</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><ul><li>Exposure to noise, dust, vibration, and irritating atmospheres</li><li>Frequent outdoor work in varying weather conditions</li><li>Work safely around moving equipment and water</li><li>Repetitive and continuous work tasks</li></ul>",
