More information is available at&nbsp;<a href=\"http://www.adt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.adt.com</a>.</p>\n<p><i><strong>Position Summary</strong></i>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The Residential Service Technician is a troubleshooter and service expert who is responsible for alleviating concerns the customer may have regarding a security system.&nbsp; The Residential Service Technician advises customers and the customer care center of the status of systems and processes inspections.&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Read blueprints, building and electrical plans in order to complete equipment repairs.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications - External</strong></p>\n<p><i><strong>Education/Certification:</strong></i>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED.</li>\n <li>Nicet Level 3 Certification preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><i><strong>Experience:</strong></i></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 8 years experience installing and inspecting/repairing ADT or comparable product</li>\n</ul>\n<p><i><strong>Skills:</strong></i></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent communication skills.</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license required.&nbsp;<br>\n   &nbsp;<br>\n   &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>",
