At Linesight, trusted relationships are everything — with our clients, our teams, and our partners.</p>\n<h2>The Opportunity</h2>\n<p><strong>In this role you will: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the identification and management of high-risk activities across all project phases, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure proactive safety planning and coordination.</li>\n <li>Champion the implementation and continuous improvement of risk control measures, ensuring they are effective, monitored, and embedded in daily operations.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain robust reporting and communication structures to provide clear visibility of HSE performance across the project.</li>\n <li>Evaluate the effectiveness of site-level HSE planning through active engagement with contractors, workers, and supervisors.</li>\n <li>Be a visible and proactive safety leader onsite — conducting audits, mentoring teams, and driving a culture of safety excellence.</li>\n <li>Design and implement the project’s safety strategy and procedures, ensuring alignment and buy-in from all project partners.</li>\n <li>Conduct independent audits across all construction activities, identifying gaps and driving corrective actions.</li>\n <li>Ensure contractors establish and maintain outstanding safety practices and procedures, aligned with project and regulatory standards.</li>\n <li>Maintain and enhance health and safety management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).</li>\n <li>Lead investigations into incidents, near misses, and accidents, ensuring thorough evaluation and implementation of preventive measures.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>We would love to hear from you if you have: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A minimum of 10 years of construction safety management experience in addition to relevant HSE team management experience, ideally within data centre, pharmaceutical or high-voltage infrastructure sectors.</li>\n <li><p>30 Hour training or local equivalent in Construction Industry Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA)</p></li>\n <li><p>Management training and Incident investigation training</p></li>\n <li>Strong track record in contractor management and stakeholder engagement, including design teams and project professionals.</li>\n <li>Deep understanding of European HSE regulations and standards, with the ability to apply them in complex, fast-paced environments.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills — both verbal and written — with the ability to influence and lead across diverse teams.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools.</li>\n <li>A collaborative mindset and a passion for building strong relationships through openness, purpose, and shared achievement.</li>\n <li>Legal right to work in the Netherlands and willingness to be based in or relocate to Groningen.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Interviews are conducted either in person or virtually (video required).</p>\n<p>#LI-LH1</p>\n<h2>About us</h2>\n<p>Linesight is a highly successful global project and cost management consultancy that keeps clients coming back.
