    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>This role will require onsite presence at our Valmeyer, IL facility.</strong></p>\n<p>MAR Graphics 523 S Meyer Ave, Valmeyer, IL 62295 </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Pay:</strong> $22.00 - $30.00 per hour</p>\n<p><strong><em>$2,000 signing bonus and relocation assistance is available!</em></strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job description:</strong></p>\n<p>Operates presses to produce a wide variety of multicolor items. Performs routine press maintenance. Establishes and maintains a solid working relationships with customer service, prepress and order entry to ensure maximum plant productivity and quality control according to established standards. Typically produces work that is more quality-intensive than that on conventional presses.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensures that all materials and supplies are available for efficient operation by coordinating with the shift supervisor and/or purchasing.</li>\n <li>Sets up and operates presses to produce a wide variety of multicolor items which may require screening and use of halftone plates to obtain precise impressions.</li>\n <li>Changes plates for size and type of stock required for job.</li>\n <li>As part of “Make Ready” cleans and lubricates press, mixes ink and loads press with specified type, size and color of paper stock.</li>\n <li>Check registration under a magnifier.</li>\n <li>Makes appropriate adjustments to ensure the output of a quality product.</li>\n <li>Investigates production problems and/or errors in order to identify possible changes in procedures to prevent re-occurrence.</li>\n <li>Ensures equipment maintenance is performed and reports any down time that will effect productions schedules and delivery commitments.</li>\n <li>Adheres to company safety polices, practices and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.)</li>\n <li>3 - 5 years of related training and experience in printing production operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Internal Requirements:</strong></p>\n<li> <strong>Attendance</strong>: Employee must be meeting attendance expectations* – no more than unexcused 3 absences, no more than 6 unexcused tardy occurrences, and 0 “No Call-No Shows” within the last 90 days. <em>*Unexcused occurrences do not include pre-approved accommodations provided by the Person Office.</em> </li>\n<li> <strong>Tenure</strong>: Employee must have a minimum of 90 days tenure at Qualfon.</li>\n<li> <strong>Performance</strong>: Employee must be meeting KPI expectations. Agent cannot have any current corrective actions at a written level or probation/final warning</li>\n<p><strong>Language Skills:</strong></p>\n<p>Ability to read and analyze instructions, correspondence, memos, technical procedures and government regulations. Ability to write correspondence and reports. Ability to effectively communicate, present information and respond to questions from supervisors, customers and other employees of the Company.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Mathematical Skills:</strong></p>\n<p>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Reasoning Ability:</strong></p>\n<p>Ability to define problems and draw conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with multiple variables.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Other Skills and Abilities:</strong></p>\n<p>Ability to prioritize daily work and projects. Multiple operational skills and individual flexibility are required to meet the needs of the business and customers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:</strong></p>\n<p>Valid vehicle operator’s license in state of residence.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demand:</strong></p>\n<p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand and reach with hands and arms. Duties of the this job also require the employee to frequently stoop kneel, crouch crawl or lifts up to 50 to 100 pounds.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p>\n<p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment usually requires the use of hearing protection. While the plant is climate controlled, there may be times during certain weather events when the working environment may be colder or hotter than normal.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>The individual must be able to perform each essential duty.
