    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>&nbsp;</p><p><i><strong>This position requires 100% travel</strong></i></p><p>The Superintendent plays a critical role in the success of our construction projects, with responsibility for day-to-day field operations including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and safety enforcement. This position ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with a focus on quality and client satisfaction. Retail construction experience is highly preferred, as this role involves fast-paced, schedule-driven environments with a strong emphasis on site logistics and phasing.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide input in developing the master construction schedule; track and report deviations to ensure on-time delivery.</li><li>Lead the planning and coordination of all on-site construction activities.<br>Manage the daily activities of subcontractors and vendors, ensuring alignment with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control protocols.</li><li>Supervise all subcontractor work to minimize punch list items and enforce development and completion of pre-punch checklists.</li><li>Maintain accurate field documentation, including daily reports, job logs, as-built drawings, and field change orders.</li><li>Conduct and lead regular subcontractor coordination meetings to resolve conflicts and maintain workflow.</li><li>Enforce all job-site safety policies and procedures and lead by example to foster a culture of safety.</li><li>Coordinate timely material deliveries and maintain tight control over job-site logistics to reduce disruption, especially in occupied retail environments.</li><li>Maintain and review daily jobsite logs and provide weekly updates to the Project Manager.</li><li>Assist in reviewing project estimates and bid documents during preconstruction phases.</li><li>Review and make recommendations on subcontractor/vendor invoices in collaboration with the Project Manager.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for client representatives, inspectors, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure the project closeout process is conducted smoothly, including completion of all punch list items and sign-off by owner/architect.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of progressive field supervision experience in commercial construction.</li><li>Experience supporting mission critical, data center or similar projects required&nbsp;</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.</li><li>Proven ability to lead field operations and collaborate with multiple trades under tight schedules.</li><li>Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, drawings, specifications, and building codes.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.</li><li>Ability to climb ladders, walk multi-story job sites, and work outdoors in Texas weather conditions.</li><li>OSHA 30 Certification preferred.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong> Structure Tone Southwest offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, Life &amp; AD&amp;D Insurance, Long-term Disability Insurance, Short-term Disability Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Accident Insurance, Hospital Indemnity Insurance, Home &amp; Auto Insurance, Family Support, Pre-tax Paid Parking/Public Transportation, Paid time off, Time Away Benefits, Paid Holidays, Group Legal, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Identity Theft Protection, Group Legal, Pet Insurance, Employee Assistance Program.</p><p><strong>EEO Statement:</strong>&nbsp;Structure Tone Southwest is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate qualified employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, and other legally protected characteristics</p><p>#STSW</p>",
