Description

Minneola District Hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services with a focus on comfort, health, and compassion in a rural setting. We pride ourselves on maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios and delivering personalized, patient-centered care. Our hospital boasts a wide range of services, including a 24/7 Emergency Room, Acute Care, Swingbed, Observation and Treatment Rooms, General Surgery, Physical Therapy, Lab, X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and more. With an 18-bed critical access facility, we serve patients of all ages and levels of care. At Minneola District Hospital, we value our staff, patients, and family members, and are committed to fostering a supportive and rewarding work environment. Job Description: We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team. Whether you have decades of experience or are just starting your nursing career, we welcome individuals who are committed to providing high-quality care to our patients. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or as indicated by patient care needs. Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patient conditions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures, medications, and treatments. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to enhance nursing knowledge and skills. Qualifications: Current RN or LPN licensure in Kansas Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy Testimonial: When asked what keeps you here at Minneola Healthcare, this is what Jodi Miller, RN, ADON & Pharmacy Director had to say: “I have worked at Minneola Healthcare for 19 years and receive great support from my nurse managers and leaders. They raised me, so to speak, and I have learned so much here over the years. I don't think I would have received that type of personalized training at any other facility. They took both their time and patience because they wanted to ensure that I was ready for a world I was so new to. The providers are all amazing and enjoy educating both nurses and family anytime they have questions. We treat the patient as a whole and not just a number. Wound clinic is a prime example. They may arrive with a "wound issue," but we look at the whole picture and treat more than just their wounds. My coworkers are like family; I spend more time with them than my own family some weeks.” If you are ready for a rewarding nursing career and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients in a supportive and caring environment, we encourage you to apply today. At Minneola District Hospital, we are committed to our mission of delivering personalized centered care in an atmosphere that promotes the healing process and enhances the quality of life for the communities we serve. By joining our team as an RN/LPN, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our patient-centered approach and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community. Together, we strive to create an environment where compassion, respect, and excellence are paramount, ensuring that every patient receives the highest quality of care tailored to their individual needs. If you share our dedication to providing exceptional healthcare services with a focus on compassion and healing, we invite you to become part of our team at Minneola District Hospital. Join us in making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. Apply today and embark on a fulfilling nursing career with us!
