Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining a clean workspace as well as contributing towards pharmacy cleaning, resupply, cycle counts, and additional tasks that maintain the pharmacy&rsquo;s operational readiness. This position reports to the Lead Clinical Pharmacist.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists pharmacist(s) and pharmacy technician(s) with pharmacy fulfillment activities in accordance with established standard operating procedures</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicates with staff about sufficient inventory quantities in regards to medication delivery</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Medication dispensing and order processing:<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Accurately and efficiently fill prescription orders by retrieving medications, counting quantities, selecting lots, labeling, and packaging products appropriately</li><li>Utilize prescription information systems to enter and process prescription orders</li><li>Review prescription information to confirm completeness and accuracy</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Inventory management:<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Receive drug orders, check in, and restock medications</li><li>Assist with regular cycle counts</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with operations teams to adjudicate prescription fulfillment issues and facilitate mailing of free goods applications, consent mailers, and rescue letters</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain pharmacy cleaning log and excel trackers as needed</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant privacy regulations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Adhere to established safety and quality assurance protocols related to medication storage and handling</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Additional projects and activities as assigned</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High school diploma or equivalent</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Active Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) licensure</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">1+ years of experience of non-commercial pharmacy or specialty pharmacy experience</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience in cold chain product fulfillment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, medications, and dosage forms</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency with using pharmacy management software</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong customer service and interpersonal skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team framework with pharmacists and other medical professionals</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of pharmacy rules and regulations including HIPAA compliance<u><br></u></li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Company Benefits</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Medical Insurance, Vision and Dental included</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">401K</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Paid-Time Off</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position operates in a well-lit, mail order distribution pharmacy environment. The role routinely uses pharmaceutical equipment and safety supplies. This position operates fully on-site, with an expectation of being onsite Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts occurring between 8am-8pm. Employees must be within commuting distance of our headquarters, located at 200 Industry Drive, Coraopolis, PA 15275. RareMed will provide all necessary equipment required to ensure a functional and efficient workspace.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Demands</strong><strong><br></strong>Individual must be able to stand for extended periods of time; lift up to 20 pounds; and utilize the computer and bar code scanner.
