The RN works collaboratively with clients, families, communities, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure care respects cultural values, promotes wellness, and strengthens connections to community supports and traditional healing practices. The position works collaboratively with clients, families, communities, and interdisciplinary care teams to promote holistic health, dignity, and continuity of care.<br><br><strong>Human Resources Exemption: </strong>No<br><br><strong>Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of two (2) years recent related nursing experience is required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate from an approved School of Nursing</li>\n <li>Current registration with CRNS and current BCLS certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licenses</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Registered Nurse (RN)</li>\n <li>Valid Class 5 driver's license</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other Education and Training</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge and Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated independent nursing judgment in a community-based environment</li>\n <li>Current clinical knowledge and skill are required in a broad range of areas.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate communication skills to create positive outcomes/build relationships</li>\n <li>Knowledge in nursing process</li>\n <li>Ability to demonstrate appropriate level of professional conduct and judgement.</li>\n <li>Ability to initiate and exercise critical thinking and decision-making</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other Information</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Travel allowance is provided.</li>\n <li>Must possess a valid driver's license and have a vehicle available for work</li>\n <li>Community based position provides services in clinic/home settings in PHC Regina</li>\n <li>Community nursing experience is an asset</li>\n <li>Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)</li>\n <li>Travel required to various community sites within Regina PHC Networks</li>\n <li>For more information on the city of Regina please visit <a href=\"https://www.regina.ca/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.regina.ca/</a></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Saskatchewan Health Authority (Regina) relies on Section 56 of the Saskatchewan Human Rights Code to give preference in employment to aboriginal ancestry applicants for this position. &nbsp;Experience and working with Indigenous individuals, families and communities is preferred.</p>\n<p>We work together to improve our health and well-being.
