Program Coordinator (BCBA) Supervisor: Clinical Director Job Type: Full-Time  FLSA Status: Exempt Summary The Program Coordinator develops and implements programs for clients and conducts staff and parent training by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Creates and implements language, academic, and non-academic programs using assessment tools such as ABLLS-R, AFLS, VB-MAPP, PEAK, etc. Creates, implements, and conducts staff training on Behavior Support Plans. Implements and interprets results from Functional Behavior Assessments and Analyses when required. May conduct supervision with practicum students enrolled in Master’s Programs in Applied Behavior Analysis and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Graphs and interprets behavior and acquisition programming data Creates program materials as needed Provides performance feedback to supervisors and instructors Conducts and implements staff and parent training Establishes and maintains behavior support plans and programs for 8-12 clients at a time Collaborates with Program Directors to ensure best practices are in place at all times Engages in 1:1 teaching time with each client they are responsible for every week Collaborates with Program Executive and Clinical Director. All salaried staff members are expected to volunteer annually for at least one fundraising event benefiting BCA. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no direct staff supervisory responsibilities. This role will oversee the work of practicum students and RBTs while adequately training staff working with assigned clients to implement the behavior plans and programs they create. Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data; designs workflows and procedures. Job Knowledge - Competent in required job skills and knowledge; exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills; keeps abreast of current developments; requires minimal supervision; displays understanding of how job relates to others; uses resources effectively. Client Service - Manages difficult or emotional client situations; responds promptly to client needs; solicits client feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments. Communications - Expresses ideas and thoughts verbally; expresses ideas and thoughts in written form; exhibits good listening and comprehension; keeps others adequately informed; selects and uses appropriate communication methods. Judgement - Displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decisions; includes appropriate people in decision-making process; makes timely decisions. Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; sets goals and objectives; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; develops realistic action plans. Qualifications Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field 2 or more years as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst preferred Experience working with children and young adults with autism and related disorders is preferred Must have experience using various assessment tools such as ABLLS-R, AFLS, VB-MAPP, or PEAK Willingness to complete and have a negative TB test Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, clients, and the general public. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills To perform successfully in this role, an individual should be able to log in to data/billing applications & input necessary information. Should be proficient with MS Office Suite. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Board Certified Behavior Analyst Meet the eligibility requirements to be a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Kentucky Ability to complete Safe Crisis Management, CPR, and First-Aid training (training provided by BCA) Physical Demands The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The work environment is highly structured but requires flexibility due to unforeseen changes in client demands.   Team Members Benefits Group Insurance Bluegrass Center for Autism offers eligible Full-time team members health insurance and welfare benefits designed to fit the needs of their immediate families, including registered domestic partners. These voluntary benefits include medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance policies. All insurance benefits are only available to Full-Time team members on the first day of the month after 60 days of employment. As an additional benefit for eligible team members enrolled in medical coverage, Bluegrass Center for Autism will pay a percentage towards your premium; for each year of service reached, the percentage that BCA will pay towards your premium will increase, and the team members' portion will lower. 401K Bluegrass Center for Autism offers all eligible team members to participate in our 401K plan. Participant requirements are a minimum age of 21 and must have worked full-time for 12 consecutive months and 1,000 hours of service. Paid Time Off Bluegrass Center for Autism team members receives time off when the learners are not in session. Hourly team members are not paid during the day students are not in session. Full-time team members are eligible to receive paid time off (PTO) after completing their 90-day orientation period to use at their discretion with supervisory approval. January 1, all eligible team members receive Ten days (or 80 hours) of PTO each calendar year. If a team member becomes eligible after January 1, their PTO amount will be prorated based on their 90-day eligibility date. Hourly team members are not paid during the days students are not in session. PTO hours do not roll over into the next calendar year but may be cashed in at the end of the calendar year. Bluegrass Center for Autism offers a Bonus PTO for hourly-only team members to earn additional quarterly PTO hours based on attendance that may be used on dates BCA is closed. These earned quarterly attendance PTO hours may not be used during dates that BCA is in session. Life Insurance Bluegrass Center for Autism offers a $20K employer-provided life insurance policy for Full-time eligible team members. Work anniversary bonuses: BCA offers all staff members a work anniversary bonus; you will receive $100 for every year of service to our organization on your annual work anniversary.   Hours of Operation Bluegrass Center for Autism's hours of operation is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
