Includes general repairs, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance activities on cGMP process equipment, utility systems, and facilities with minimal disruption to production.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Compensation: </span><span style=\"color: rgb(45, 45, 45); font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\">$49.15/Hour<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">.</span> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">After completion of probation: </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">$49.66/Hour.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(45, 45, 45); text-decoration: underline\">Job Duties</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Performs packaging and manufacturing equipment troubleshooting, set up and operation (assess, assemble, align and monitor). Includes: breakdown (disassembly and inspection) of packaging and manufacturing equipment; safely rig, move, hoist and position equipment as necessary.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Performs maintenance, repair and preventative maintenance (P.M.) activities and completes related documentation as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for building, manufacturing, packaging and other equipment (e.g. compressed air, boilers, HVAC, Water for Injection and Clean Steam systems etc.).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Works in compliance with established cGMP and safe work practices and procedures, using personal protection and safety equipment as required. Reports any accidents, incidents and injuries or illnesses immediately and notifies manager of any hazards, unsafe acts or conditions in the workplace.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Identifies, reports on and repairs deficiencies in mechanical, electrical and PLC related equipment and systems throughout the plant. Identifies and sources appropriate/required equipment parts. Performs minor repairs including plumbing, painting, carpentry and other general repairs as needed in the facility.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Fabricates (cuts, welds, assembles) components as may be required for repair or modification of equipment, including fitting piping in threaded, welded and sanitary configurations. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must be able to operate safely all hand tools, power tools, multi meter tester and other equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assists in supervision of contractor services as required and ensures that work is completed in accordance to safety regulations </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Communicates daily Maintenance Activities with the Maintenance Manager and team, as well as updates all daily logs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Able to work in a Sterile environment </span>and must pass gown certification to remain in the role.</li>\n<li>Mandatory rotating weekend On-Call (if applicable).</li>\n<li>Flexible to work overtime if needed.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">This position is covered under a collective bargaining agreement, with The United SteelWorkers Union, Local 2000.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Other duties as assigned</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(45, 45, 45); text-decoration: underline\">What you will bring to the role</span></span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Certified Millwright ticket required. Trade certificate – 433A<br></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(28, 24, 24); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">433A ticket with a 442A or 309A considered an asset and a $2.00 ticket premium would apply.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Completion of Millwright Apprenticeship Program preferred</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">PLC knowledge or Certification would be considered an asset.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Basic knowledge of electrical systems an asset.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in a food/beverage or pharmaceutical or food/beverage manufacturing setting.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of highspeed filling and packaging lines and PLCs, aptitude in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications considered an asset.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Able to lift and move heavy or awkward objects, visual acuity, manual dexterity, some repetitive movements and work in confined spaces.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Excellent math skills.
