Join one of the largest construction firms in the country (Engineering News-Record [ENR]: #1 in Power, #16 Top 50 Domestic Heavy Contractors, #13 Transportation Contractor). </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Oversee all construction activities, specific to assigned discipline, on assigned project</li>\n <li>Construct the project and work with the management team to maximize the profit of the project</li>\n <li>Monitor and oversee construction activities and personnel within the delivery timelines, including development plans and training requirements</li>\n <li>Responsible for overall construction activity progress & performance along with monitoring and review of construction key performance indicators</li>\n <li>Cooperate with all matters relating to health and safety, including following safe working procedures at all times</li>\n <li>Act as a role model for the company’s vision and values, behaving in ways that are in alignment with the company’s ways of working while encouraging other to do so as well</li>\n <li>Promote equality in the workplace and adopt appropriate behavior when interacting with colleagues</li>\n <li>Take necessary care to properly protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of corporate information from unauthorized disclosure, modification or destruction</li>\n <li>Build, Supervise & lead teams</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with crew leads on goals and expectations</li>\n <li>Ensure the Foremen manage crews and subcontractors to provide a safe work environment</li>\n <li>Manage Foreman and crews to work in a respectful, constructive and positive environment</li>\n <li>Manage the construction package elements of the procurement process</li>\n <li>Monitor contract performance against project milestones, budget and other established metrics</li>\n <li>Care for and sustain business relationships with multiple clients</li>\n <li>Ensure Client expectations are being met, along with the agreement and scope of work</li>\n <li>Build and maintain a relationship with Client Site Representatives to ensure open communication and trust</li>\n <li>Ensure all work in assigned discipline is done to the company Safety and Quality standards</li>\n <li>Be proactive in equipment management, preventing equipment damages and planning of equipment resources</li>\n <li>Complete personnel administrative tasks in a timely manner; expectation documents, performance management, task planners, employee change forms, etc.</li>\n <li>Work closely with the Field Operations team on resource management to ensure we have the right people on the project at the right times to drive project profitability</li>\n <li>Support Business Development, Estimating and Preconstruction efforts as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.   </li>\n <li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in the heavy construction industry, knowledge of construction techniques and construction management. </li>\n <li><strong>Must have bridge, roadwork, and DOT experience. </strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward our company's Zero Injury principles</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
