The lead position will represent and stand in for the Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator as needed.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Assists in the set-up, maintenance, and tear down of exhibits.</span></li>\n<li><span>Performs manual labor involved in the set-up, installation and teardown of exhibits.</span></li>\n<li><span>Cleans and maintains exhibits, which may include using power tools, ladders and other equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span>Job includes some lifting and lots of time on your feet on a concrete floor.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assists and i</span><span>nteracts with guests to provide accurate information and assistance to ensure guests have an enjoyable experience.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assists with children’s activities and interacts with guests to provide accurate information and assistance to ensure guests have an enjoyable experience.</span></li>\n<li><span>If working in the Home-Made exhibit, helps with “Make &amp; Takes” (crafts for all ability levels).</span></li>\n<li><span>Keeps abreast of information to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgably responses in person or on the phone.</span></li>\n<li><span>Practices good physical work methods, utilizes good work habits, and meets established production standard</span></li>\n<li><span>Keep scheduled commitments.</span></li>\n<li><span>Wears proper personal protective equipment (e.g., gloves, googles) and works in a safe work environment at all times.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assists Judges.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assists Exhibitors with drop off and pick up.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ensure staff take their breaks and lunch.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Performs other related duties as assigned or requested when needed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Excellent customer service and ability to work cooperatively with team members and others.</span></li>\n<li>Ability to fo<span>ll</span><span>o</span><span>w</span><span>s oral and written instructions and work independently.</span></li>\n<li><span>Knowledge of exhibit focus is desired but not required.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Work will include lots of time on your feet on concrete floors.</span></li>\n<li><span>Moves objects up to approximately 30 pounds.</span></li>\n<li><span>Works a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.</span></li>\n<li><span>Workers are unable to enter the Photo competition. However, we do provide an exhibit area for employees to display their work if desired.</span></li>\n</ul>",
