Description

Commercial Escrow Officers accommodate the complex needs of high end real estate deals. Commercial Escrow Officers are next-level experts in their field and know all of the ins and outs of the commercial real estate world. They juggle the responsibilities of meeting deadlines and industry requirements. Our Commercial Escrow Officers will step up and ensure that our clients have a clean, worry-free real estate transaction every time. Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate closing Determine whether the transaction is ready to close, review and assemble closing documents, and communicate all details to relevant parties. Order title documents Send requests to update the title commitment and taxes, and contacting third parties for updated pay-offs (mortgages, water/sewer, HOA, etc) Coordinate the transaction process until the closing Work with third parties to clear title requirements, including monitoring and updating the status of items and coordinating with any parties on a split transaction. Prepare settlement statements and closing documents. Review the title commitment, purchase agreement and other documents (pay-offs, invoices, etc.) and prepare the settlement statements for closing. Obtain lender approval of buyer closing statement (purchases) Prepare the initial buyer CDF and coordinate obtaining closing statement approval from the lender Obtain funding approval (if applicable) and disburse all same-day payments. Send required documents to the lender and obtain a funding approval number (if applicable).commercial, distribute same-day required payments (i.e. commissions, seller proceeds, same-day pay-offs). Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in one on one and in group settings; Ability to think well under pressure; Ability to manage competing priorities; Excellent communication and organization skills; Positive attitude; Team focus; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, similar field or equivalent. Preferred 3 year immediate past experience as a Commercial Escrow Officer Real estate experience, especially with a legal background; Extensive industry knowledge in title and real estate; Experience with purchase, refinance and commercial transactions;
