This is a PRN position only.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About the Facility: </strong>Baptist Anderson located in Meridian, Mississippi offers a wide range of services to meet the diverse needs of its patients. These services include mother/baby care, breast care, cancer treatment, digestive health services, cardiac care, ICU/CCU care, interventional radiology, orthopedics, pediatrics, sports medicine, weight loss surgery, diagnostic imaging, dialysis, emergency and trauma care, infusion, laboratory services, nutrition support, surgery and respiratory therapy.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday – Friday (No call, no nights, no weekends)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Case Mix:  </strong>OB, endoscopy, cath lab, Ped tonsils and dental, OB, Pain, Centralized Arterial lines, Epidurals, Spinals, Nerve blocks; no heads</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Call Requirements: </strong>As needed</p>\n<p><strong>Malpractice</strong>Professional liability will be covered by LifeLinc. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why LifeLinc? </strong></p>\n<p>LifeLinc Anesthesia has emerged as one of the top, comprehensive anesthesia management providers in the country. Come join a team committed to provider growth and continuing innovation in anesthesia!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESMay include any and/or all of the following:</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>CLINICAL DUTIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure the availability of adequate anesthesia staffing to provide clinical, medical, and administrative leadership support throughout the organization.</li>\n <li>Administer anesthetic or sedation during medical procedures.</li>\n <li>Inform students and staff of types and methods of anesthesia administration, signs of complications, and emergency methods to counteract reactions.</li>\n <li>Provide medical care and consultation in many settings, prescribing medication and treatment.</li>\n <li>Provides clinical support and patient care to assist the anesthesia team as applicable.</li>\n <li>Maintain current policies and procedures set forth by LifeLinc and propose new and efficient policies when applicable.</li>\n <li>Perform clinical reviews and audits on all clinical services provided by other practitioners employed by LifeLinc as applicable.</li>\n <li>Responsible for training and oversight of all clinical staff and personnel as applicable.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to read and write English.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.</li>\n <li>Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.</li>\n <li>Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, patients, patient's family and other employees of organization.</li>\n <li>Able to work in a team-oriented environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>REASONING ABILITY</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>HIPAA</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensures and adheres to strict confidentiality when handling patient information, according to the HIPAA Privacy Act and hospital policy and procedure regarding confidentiality.</li>\n <li>Complies with all information security practices.</li>\n <li>Has knowledge of and adheres to all compliance regulations, policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Takes annual HIPAA compliance exam.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education and experience equivalent to:</strong></p>\n<p>Must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine in anesthesia with a current license in good standing to practice in the state in which you are located.   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>ACLS/BLS/PALS Certification </li>\n <li>Comfortable practicing in a care team model </li>\n</ul>",
