    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\">Note: &nbsp;This description only documents the time that is allocated to management tasks. &nbsp;The remaining hours are allocated to deployed hourly tasks in food preparation, production, guest service and cleaning.<br />\n<br />\n<span style=\"color:#27ae60\"><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><em><strong>Basic Purpose and Objectives of the Position</strong></em></span></span><br />\n<br />\nThe Shift Manager (SM) is an hourly position that serves to assist management in routine administrative and operational tasks within the restaurant. &nbsp;Focal points include:<br />\n-&nbsp; &nbsp; Driving excellence in customer service<br />\n-&nbsp; &nbsp; Maintaining company standards in product and facility specifications<br />\n-&nbsp; &nbsp; Reviewing food handling procedures<br />\n-&nbsp; &nbsp; Assessing operational processes<br />\n<br />\nThe human resources responsibilities of a Shift Manager are limited to crew training and ongoing coaching and feedback for hourly employees. &nbsp;In addition, the Shift Manager may assume full responsibility for the opening and closing of the restaurant when management is unavailable. &nbsp;In these instances, the Shift Manager maintains administrative control of the restaurant but is not authorized to serve in a managerial capacity.<br />\n<br />\n<span style=\"font-size:16px\"><span style=\"color:#27ae60\"><em><strong>Principle Accountabilities</strong></em></span></span><br />\n<br />\n<span style=\"color:#27ae60\"><u><strong>Customer Satisfaction/Product Quality</strong></u></span></span><br />\n<span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\">&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Maintains fast, accurate service, positive guest relations and ensure products are consistent with company quality standards.<br />\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Conducts periodic food safety audits.</span><br />\n<span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\">&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Provides on-going coaching and feedback to crew on customer service, product quality and speed of service.<br />\n<br />\n<span style=\"color:#27ae60\"><u><strong>Financial</strong></u></span><br />\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Shares with the Management team day-to-day responsibility for cash procedures such as bank deposits, making change, opening/closing safe and verifying drawers.<br />\n<br />\n<span style=\"color:#27ae60\"><u><strong>Operations</strong></u></span><br />\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Conducts daily inventory, completes shift-to-shift food safety audit and sets up daily control sheets.<br />\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Reviews facility and equipment readiness.<br />\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Monitors inventory, food preparation and order fulfillment on a daily basis to ensure adherence to company standards.<br />\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Monitors speed with service (SWS) performance and resolves bottlenecks to achieve SWS goals.<br />\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;In the absence of management, responsible for food and supplies deliveries and restaurant opening and closing.<br />\n<br />\n<span style=\"color:#27ae60\"><u><strong>Human Resources</strong></u></span><br />\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Provides ongoing coaching and feedback for crew employees.<br />\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Provides &ldquo;hands-on&rdquo; training for crew in Learning Zone.</span></p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p><strong><u><u><ins>Benefits</ins></u></u></strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>30 hours week are entitled to enroll in medical, dental and 401k benefits; 32 hours a week are entitled to PTO; 36 hours a week are entitled to short term disability</li>\n\t<li>Period bonus potential up to $1.00 per hour for every hour worked</li>\n</ul>\n",
