You will work alongside an established Business Unit Leader and the firm's Chair of General Liability to drive case strategy, develop talent, and expand one of the fastest-growing offices in our national GL division. You will carry your own caseload of complex defense matters while also playing a direct role in shaping the direction, culture, and growth trajectory of the Tampa team.</p>\n<p>If you are a skilled GL litigator who wants to try cases, lead people, and grow within a firm that is investing heavily in its Tampa operation, this is the opportunity.</p>\n<h3>Responsibilities</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage a caseload of General Liability defense matters from inception through trial, including pre-suit evaluation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial.</li>\n <li>Serve as a key leader within the Tampa GL team, working directly alongside the Business Unit Leader and the firm's Chair of General Liability to set priorities, allocate resources, and execute on the team's growth plan.</li>\n <li>Supervise, mentor, and develop associate attorneys and support staff, helping to build a team culture grounded in high standards, accountability, and professional growth.</li>\n <li>Deliver consistent, high-quality client service and maintain strong working relationships with carrier clients, adjusters, and in-house counsel.</li>\n <li>Contribute to business development efforts, client retention strategies, and the expansion of existing client relationships with support from the firm's in-house Business Development and Marketing team.</li>\n <li>Collaborate across Kelley Kronenberg's national GL platform, leveraging the firm's resources, institutional relationships, and multi-state capabilities to deliver results for clients.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Qualifications</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.</li>\n <li>Active Florida Bar license in good standing.</li>\n <li>A minimum of 4 years of General Liability defense litigation experience, with demonstrated progression in responsibility, case complexity, and client management.</li>\n <li>First-chair trial, arbitration, or mediation experience strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>A proven ability to manage a full caseload independently while also providing oversight and guidance to junior attorneys.</li>\n <li>Strong written and oral advocacy skills, sound legal judgment, and a client-first approach to case management.</li>\n <li>A leader who is ready to invest in the success of the people around them — not just their own docket.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>About Kelley Kronenberg</h3>\n<p>Kelley Kronenberg is a national, full-service law firm with one of the largest and most active General Liability defense divisions in the country, operating across Florida, New York, Illinois, Texas, Louisiana, Indiana, and New Jersey.
