This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, completing repairs, and helping ensure the reliable operation of conveyors, AGVs, robotic systems, and related automation equipment.</p><p><br></p><p>The successful candidate will work onsite at the customer facility and serve as the primary maintenance resource supporting day-to-day equipment performance. While prior automation experience is beneficial, Storage Solutions will provide training on customer-specific systems and equipment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>· Perform preventative maintenance and repair activities on automated material handling equipment</p><p>· Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system issues</p><p>· Support conveyors, AGVs, robotics, and other automated equipment</p><p>· Diagnose equipment failures and assist with root cause analysis</p><p>· Complete scheduled inspections and maintenance tasks</p><p>· Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore systems to operational status</p><p>· Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance in maintenance logs and systems</p><p>· Collaborate with Storage Solutions personnel and customer contacts to resolve technical issues</p><p>· Maintain compliance with all customer and company safety requirements</p><p>· Support continuous improvement efforts to increase equipment reliability.</p><p>· Maintain a clean and organized work area</p><p>· Participate in occasional after-hours support for emergency situations as needed</p><p><strong>KNOWLEDGE &amp; SKILLS REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p>· High school diploma or equivalent</p><p>· Experience maintaining industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or automated equipment</p><p>· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills</p><p>· Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems</p><p>· Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment</p><p>· Strong communication and documentation skills</p><p>· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</p><p>· Experience with conveyor systems, AGVs, robotics, or automated material handling equipment</p><p>· Familiarity with industrial controls, sensors, and instrumentation</p><p>· Basic understanding of PLC-controlled equipment</p><p>· Experience working in distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or automated environments</p><p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p>· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods</p><p>· Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb as needed</p><p>· Ability to lift and move equipment and materials up to 50 pounds</p><p>· Ability to safely perform maintenance activities in an industrial environment</p><p><strong>WORK CONDITIONS</strong></p><p>· Onsite at Scholastic in Jefferson City, Missouri</p><p>· Monday through Friday schedule</p><p>· No regular travel required</p><p>· Occasional emergency support outside normal business hours may be necessary</p><p>· Company-provided tools and equipment</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Why work for Storage Solutions – A Jungheinrich Company?</strong></p><p>Our greatest asset is our people.
