This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative.  The Automotive Maintenance / Lube & Tire Technician is responsible to support the needs of our customers in accordance with our safety and quality standards.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Full-Time Position with overtime availability</strong></li>\n <li><strong>$20.00 starting salary</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>$2.00 / hour weekday pay differential (after 11:00 am) </strong></li>\n   <li><strong>$4.00 / hour weekend pay differential </strong></li>\n   <li><strong>Additional pay for VSI License and ASE Certifications</strong></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Full-Time Benefits:  Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, paid time off - along with Rental Car Discounts, Employee Referral Bonuses and Auto Purchasing Discounts</strong></li>\n <li><strong>$1,000.00 Tool Allowance</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Work on new vehicles across all manufacture lines</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Pursue Professional Development – advancement through apprenticeship - work and train with our team of highly qualified and experienced Automotive Technicians</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Access to manufacture training</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Use of company provided tools and equipment</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>We are currently looking for an Automotive Maintenance / Lube & Tire Technician that can work the following schedule:</strong></p>\n<p>Monday through Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm </p>\n<p>This position is located at the Norfolk Used Car Certification Center (21V3), 7436 N. Military Highway, Norfolk VA 23518</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>We are hiring now for immediate openings.  Responsibilities include:</p> \n<ul>\n <li>Perform used car certification inspections according to company standards.</li>\n <li>Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels</li>\n <li>Perform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines</li>\n <li>Repair and replace tires</li>\n <li>Replace wearable parts (i.e. bulbs, wipers)</li>\n <li>Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a repair order (RO) to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair</li>\n <li>Comply with part procurement and inventory management procedures</li>\n <li>Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all services</li>\n <li>May process new fleet, fuel reclamation or buy backs</li>\n <li>Follow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety and environmental standards</li>\n <li>Maintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standards</li>\n <li>Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting</li>\n <li>Comply with all Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines.</li>\n <li>Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality</li>\n <li>Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans</em></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li>\n <li>Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 convicted moving violations in the last 3 years (Total points on driving record cannot exceed 8 points)</li>\n <li>No drug or alcohol related incidents in the last 3 years (DUI/DWI)</li>\n <li>Must have 2 years experience handling automotive mechanical service procedures in a work-center atmosphere in the last 3 years</li>\n <li>Must pass background check/MVR and drug test</li>\n <li>ASE Certification preferred or ability to obtain</li>\n</ul>",
