We offer clients advanced in house engineering & design with 3D modeling, piloting, fabrication and machining, in house control panel shop, and a full range of field services, allowing us to provide turn key solutions. In our busy industry, we consistently manage a strong and steady backlog of work extending well beyond a year, which ensures a secure and reliable workflow.\n\nWe are seeking a qualified intermediate panel technician to fill a permanent full time position in our CSA certified Electrical Panel Shop. The successful candidate must be a team player and have technical experience in industrial electrical and control wiring. The candidate must also have a great attention to detail and the ability to identify and solve potential problems.\n\nJoin our team and thrive in a role that boasts a safe and clean indoor facility, equipped with state of the art amenities including new machinery, overhead cranes and 15+ welding machines. Please see our website link for an in depth look at our facility and shop environment.\n\n Duties and responsibilities: \n\n Assemble custom control panels\n Wire control panels following a basic set of electrical schematics\n Confirm wiring of components as they are completed.\n Ensure manufacturers installation instructions and all code requirements are adhered to\n Review bill of materials for accuracy and flag any errors immediately\n Redline drawings as required during assembly\n Review finished assemblies for accuracy.\n Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of conduct in the shop.\n Input weekly timesheets accurately and in a timely manner.\n Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.\n Occasional field site work and associated travel as required\n Other assigned duties as required\n\n Hours \n\n7:00am 3:30pm\n\n Requirements\n\nEducation:\n\n High School diploma or equivalent\n\nExperience:\n\n 3+ Years of relevant panel experience or equivalent\n 3+ Years as a junior panel technician or equivalent\n\n Benefits\n\n Industry Leading Compensation \nAWC offers competitive, industry leading compensation packages designed to recognize and reward performance.
