Lead the development of physical and logical system models capturing the system under development utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches and tools. Lead system interface development, as captured in Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Interface Design Descriptions (IDDs), by converting system and interface requirements into message-level details sufficient to coordinate interface development. Support formal and informal engineering technical reviews. Create, review and critique interface documents, system requirements, verification documentation, architectural documentation, and engineering estimates. Interface with key stakeholders, including the MDA customer and working-level counterparts, as-required. Demonstrated experience covering all responsibilities of this role. Experience regularly interacting with the customer, specifically in elicitation of customer needs and requirements. Experience with one or more elements of the Missile Defense System. Experience with one or more elements involved in Space Defense, Space Domain Awareness, or other Space Missions. Experience with complex Command and Control Systems, especially those with heavy networking capabilities. Experience performing many of the responsibilities of this position, with a particular focus on concept development and requirement decomposition. Experience with using MBSE approaches and tools (e.g. Cameo).Experience working on tasks where failure to achieve good results normally results in program delays and wasted expenditure of resources.
