          "text": "<p>The <strong>Transportation Associate</strong> supports&#xa0; the safe and efficient daily operation of school transportation services. This role focuses on the day-to-day execution of routes and schedules while ensuring student safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality customer service. The Associate will support the Director of Facilities and Regional Operations by monitoring bus drivers and monitors, maintaining accurate records, and acting as a primary liaison for school leaders and families.</p><p><strong>Here's what you'll be doing:</strong></p><p><strong>Operational Support &amp; Coordination</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate day-to-day transportation activities for KIPP Miami campuses, including daily route coverage and scheduling.</li><li>Supervise Bus Drivers and manage time cards, route assignments, timeliness and adherence to protocols.&#xa0;</li><li>Provide daily guidance and support to Bus Drivers and Bus Monitors to ensure performance aligns with KIPP Miami’s Heartbeat Principles.</li><li>Assist in tracking transportation expenses, fuel usage, and maintenance logs to support budget management.</li><li>Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation for routes and vehicle service records.</li><li>Foster a positive team culture through consistent communication and recognition of staff contributions</li></ul><p><strong>Safety &amp; Compliance Monitoring&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Under supervision of the Director of Regional Operations, monitor compliance with Florida Department of Education (FDOE), and DOT regulations.</li><li>Ensure accurate completion of FEFP ridership surveys by drivers.&#xa0;</li><li>Facilitate required vehicle inspections and coordinate with approved vendors for timely repairs.</li><li>Assist in the delivery of training programs for staff regarding student management and safety procedures.</li><li>Maintain incident reporting protocols and assist in the documentation of any accidents or safety concerns.</li></ul><p><strong>Logistics &amp; Communication</strong></p><p>&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Implement and update efficient bus routes using transportation software.</li><li>Handle daily dispatch tasks to ensure all routes are covered and arrive on time.</li><li>Coordinate transportation for field trips, athletics, and extracurricular programs in collaboration with school staff.</li><li>Serve as the first point of contact for family inquiries and transportation concerns.</li><li>Under supervision of the Director of Regional Operations, conduct regular safety and evacuation drills for transportation staff and ensure all vehicles meet emergency equipment standards.</li><li>Support emergency protocols, including hurricane procedures and safety drills, as directed by regional leadership</li></ul>",
