    "description": "<p>The Bus Driver drives a bus to transport passengers over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p>\n<p>· Complies with local traffic regulations and reports delays or accidents.</p>\n<p>· Performs pre-operation safety checklist according to safety guidelines before departure.</p>\n<p>· Service vehicle batteries as required.</p>\n<p>· Perform minor repairs such as tightening mirrors and screws, and changing vehicle light bulbs.</p>\n<p>· Operate car/bus wash as required.</p>\n<p>· Operate generator as required and jump-start buses as required.</p>\n<p>· May load and unload baggage or express items checked by passengers.</p>\n<p>· May drive diesel or gas-powered vehicles to transport passengers over established post and city routes.</p>\n<p>· Operate driver training and train other personnel in bus/box truck operations.</p>\n<p>· Complies with all installation and State rules and regulations and ensures that seatbelts are worn when operating any vehicle. Attend all Safety Meetings and/or Training classes as scheduled.</p>\n<p>· Clean up oil spills and keep the vehicle parking area clean of debris and oil.</p>\n<p>· Other duties as assigned</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)</p>\n<p>· High School graduate or equivalent.</p>\n<p>· A minimum of four years' driving experience is a plus.</p>\n<p>· Must be able to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for computer access.</p>\n<p>· Class “A” or Class “B” CDL with a “P” endorsement required.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p>\n<p>· Must present a neat appearance and pleasant attitude when dealing with customers and other employees.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Physical Demands: (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Work Environment: (The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.)</p>\n<p>· The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.</p>\n<p>· During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.</p>",
